Philips Healthcare
Tele-ICU Patient Care and Analytics

Director, Clinical Affairs

By collaborating with clinicians, key stakeholders and health system executives, I drove to transform the Philips tele ICU clinical informatics strategy from a reactionary retrospective approach, to a proactive approach of early clinical deterioration identification and highlighting of actionable patient information.  By 2018, the Philips tele ICU system had 48 sites, monitoring 500 hospitals, and had more than 4.25 million patient stays.

  • First pharmacist appointed to Coalition of Critical Care Excellence, Society of Critical Care Medicine

  • Twelfth pharmacist to be inducted as a Fellow to the American College of Critical Care Medicine

Senior Clinical Product Manager

By contributing to build the tele ICU solution from incubation phase to maturity involved innovations to improve clinical efficacy, best practice compliance and bedside collaboration.  Success has been reported by a 26-30% reduction in mortality, 20-25% reduction in ICU length of stay, and $4-$8 million in cost savings.

Was responsible for developing a new medication management ICU patient service, clinical and didactic teaching, scholarly activities and professional service.  Was promoted to associate professor rank after peer review.
